Dear Community family,In keeping with our state and local government policies and the elders desire to be pro-active we are suspending Sunday campus services until April 12. We are also suspending all in person small groups and Bible teachings. This includes Personal Development class, Men’s Discipleship and all other in person group activities. People who want to stay connected to their small group and the Transformed series can do so through our website, facebook, skype, etc. On Sunday I will be giving an online COVID-19 update and the teaching message for the day. Please join in online at communitych.com Sunday morning for a message of information, instruction and hope during this uncertain time. We will also be giving instructions on how to worship God through our online giving. Be reminded that although our in person gathering is suspended our ministry costs are not. While this is an unprecedented situation we know it is best for our family and the community. Please stay connected to our church and each other through the church email, website and social media platforms. Let’s not panic but be prepared. We need to stay focused on honoring God, taking care of our families and taking wise opportunities to minister to the Northshore community while we get through this challenge. We are taking the Sunday teaching online because we want to minimize the possibility of spreading and or contacting COVID-19. Remember, God is still on the throne and in control and He will see us through as we adjust to new norms. He teaches us not to fear as He promises his protection in all situations. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes before you He will never leave nor forsake you” Deuteronomy 31:6God Bless you and be sure to check in on the website Sunday at anytime for the video teaching and updates. Please share this email with your family, friends and ministry team members. If you know people who are online, social media or video challenged please reach out to them and help them stay informed and connected. Pastor Young |
