Come join us as we gather to experience fun fellowship with friends. Our time will include games, prizes, and food. We can’t wait to see you there.
Have you ever played “Spot the Difference”? You know, that game where you have to compare pictures that are nearly identical except for a few tiny differences? Sometimes the differences are easy to catch. Sometimes they’re hard to find. And sometimes we play this game in real life by comparing ourselves to others. When we do, the differences we spot are usually seen as negatives. We criticize others when they seem a little too “different,” and we criticize ourselves when we feel like we’re the “different” ones. But what if instead of criticizing our differences we learned to celebrate them instead? In the Bible, a guy named Paul had something to say about this. He said yeah, we are all different, just like different parts of our bodies all have different purposes. Just like your body wouldn’t work if it was one giant foot, God made each of us with different qualities and abilities. That’s why we can celebrate (instead of criticize) our distinctions.
